 Winter Pond Checklist

1.  Begin to feed fish Wheatgerm as soon as the water temperature falls below 10-12°C (it is low protein and highly digestible for the fish at low temperatures), and ensure you decrease the amount of feed until they retire to the bottom of the pond for the season at which point you can stop feeding them.
To help you do this: PondXpert Floating Pond Thermometer (Analogue) | PondXpert Winter Wheatgerm (4kg)

2.  Prune all plants around pond.

3.  Cover pond with a net to catch falling leaves in Autumn months

To help you do this: PondXpert PondMaster Pond Vacuum & Discharge Basket |PondXpert Sludge Eliminator (1kg)

7.  Move pump from bottom of pond or remove pump from pond (this ensures fish can stay at the bottom of the pond in the warmest part)
