Velda Reflector Floating Heron Deterrent

Because it works so well! Even my dog is scared of it! Make sure you have it in shallow enough water that the ball can move in the breeze.

So far the pesky heron hasn't returned. It doesn't scare the wood pigeons even though says so on the box.

Not sure how effective this will be as a deterrent as there are no fish left to bring the Heron . Will restock in the Spring. However it certainly frightened my Golden Retriever who spent at least half an hour growling & barking at this “intruder” which gave us a good laugh. He did get used to it though. It does seem to have been effective at stopping the Wood pigeons from bathing and leaving a white scum of dander. Hoping it won’t deter smaller birds though from bathing.

Now just waiting to see if the heron deterrent works, or whether it was a waste of money !

Bought a heron deterrent. Eady to set up and works well. Already scared one off 😃 excellent value for money. Item was delivered very fast to us.
