Does what it says on the box, the pond is getting much more oxygen now then before- a bonus during this long hot summer period-the fish appreciate it that's for sure. Easy to set up and running in no time-just a shame a plug is not supplied that would have saved me going back out to buy one but at the price from Pondkeeper i can not complain

Have replaced these before and they last a good time before new ones needed. They definitely collect the fine mud that escapes the coarser green ones. They do need cleaning weekly if the pond is particularly dirty.

In tenet years they’re designed changed twice. Every time you change them they become less effective. Yellow sponges should be way denser to be effective. Solid debris should be picked up by the blue sponges while yellow sponges should deal with smaller particles. The latest version is identical to blue sponges (bar the colour) which is extremely disappointing. I hope you can change the manufacturer to one that will bring the old style yellow sponges. I still have some old ones but they’re sadly too warm out. Please please fix that issue
