I bought these primarily to give a bit of shade for the fish. They do that quite well & the fish like them. However if you are buying them for the lighting effect you may be disappointed. None of the three worked at all. My husband is very resourceful & managed to fix them. They had a range of faults - rusty battery connections, broken soldering & wrongly fitted batteries. They now operate but only after a lot of work! Could have returned but my husband likes a challenge…
