Super Value Pond Tap Water Dechlorinator

This PondXpert dechlorinator removes chlorine and other nasties from your tap water, keeping your fish and other wildlife safe. It comes with the fittings needed to attach to standard sized hose-pipe.

The filters contain Ceramet, our blend of bio ceramics.  In the mid 90's the UK manufacturer travelled to Nagano in Japan and visited a monastery with a Japanese family. The family has a business that made bio ceramics. They showed them the massive Koi lake surrounding the rear of the monastery and they saw just how clear the water was! They could see everything, the fish, the bottom, etc.  They then took the UK manufacturer to see a large barrel which had a basic pump on it.  It contained their bio ceramic media which they called Waki Misu (spring water). They also said the fish remained healthy through the seasons. They bought the ceramic beads from them and over the years found UK companies who replicated the spheres and hence Ceramet was born.
