Works well as a fountain but is let down by having a manual switch over between solar and battery power. This is compounded by having the solar/battery switches on the rear of the solar panel where they are difficult to reach and impossible to see. By contrast, my solar powered air pump has automatic switchover and runs for several hours after the solar panel is in shade.
