The PondXpert EcoFilter 4000 filter is a submersible solar filter that works well when ran with a solar or fountain pump.

This solar filter allows you to provide filtration for a pond without the need for main electricity. Whilst there is no UVC unit, the filter comes with plenty of foam and bio media (sold separate) to provide a good level of mechanical and biological filtration. Working in a very similar way to an All-in-One pond filter, the pump fits inside the box and the whole box is submerged. The PondXpert EcoFilter 4000 can be connected to an existing or new solar pump, The most suitable pump to use would be a solar one such as the 600 and 800 models in the PondXpert SolarShower range. IMPORTANT: Not designed to keep ponds with koi or heavy stock of fish clean.
