PondXpert Anti-Duckweed (1,000ml)

Probably the most effective treatment of pond duckweed issues.
This treatment tackles duckweed by attacking its roots and leaves. The manufacturer claims that this is the only effective way to treat this weed and that this is the only product which guarantees this action. There are several species of 'duckweed' (lemnaceae) which quickly spread and can cause an unsightly covering on a pond. This product deals effectively with all known species of this plant safely and effectively.
1,000ml treats 22,750 litres of pond water (5,000 gallons)
Extra concentrated formulae
Safe for all pond fish and aquatic life.
Here we have outlined some key maintenance tips for your pond in January.

Good Morning
Thank you for your feedback on this product.
I am sorry to hear that the treatment has not worked; unfortunately, Duckweed is difficult to control and to treat. Normally treatments do work, but they often need as much Duckweed to be removed as possible prior to treatment. It is also worth looking into other methods which may help to control the Duckweed. Please see our blog post below which may help:

Good Morning
Thank you for your feedback; though I am sorry to hear that this treatment has not worked.
Duckweed is often found in ponds that have a lot of nutrients; particular Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates. It can be difficult to treat Duckweed because of how quickly it grows and develops in a pond. There are several ways in which Duckweed can be treated; please see our blog post below for hints and tips on how to prevent and treat Duckweed.

See this exchange on FeefoA typical excuse blaming other issues with the pond and not admitting that the product is useless. If many issues can affect the outcome, dont sell a produce that will only work within a small rage of conditions.
I have bought many items from Pondkeeper over the years ranging from full large liners, expensive filters and pumps, uv clarifiers, spending hundreds of pounds. When I purchase something that does not work I thought that I would get better treatment being a repeat customer.
Oh well.
