Ultra Violet Clarifier
What is an Ultra Violet Clarifier?
A UVC consists of a chamber holding an electrical lamp
behind quartz glass. Water is pumped through this
chamber to prevent pond water turning green.
How Does It Work?
Pond water is subjected to high levels of U.V light. This
U.V. light causes the microscopic single cell algae to be
clumped together allowing them to be collected and
broken down by the biological filter.
