Our entry-level filters boast some key features:
Mechanical filtration via filter foams
Biological filtration via biomedia at the bottom of
the filters.
Backflushing feature for interval cleaning without
removing the lid.
Built-in UVC to prevent green water.
These filters will involve a degree of maintenance. As they
are so effective the sponges will block up with debris over
time and will require you to pop open the lid and wash the
sponges out in clean (pond) water.

Hozelock Bioforce

filters. Last year the Bioforce Revolution was introduced -
completely re-engineering pond filters for the 21st century -
and our customers loved it. This clever product features the
best ‘easyClean’ feature we have ever see. The secret to its
success is that the filter uses micro block sponge foam filters
rather than the usual rings or blocks. This means that when
static the foams act effectively as before but by applying
pressure on them via the cleaning handle they disperse,
bang together and shed their dirt far more effectively.
