The powerful 3000lph pond pump pulls the dirty pond water (including solids up to 6mm) through it's strainer cage and then pushes it to the filter.
Dirty water enters the filter through the multistage hosetail past the UVC where it is pushed through foam into the first chamber of biomedia.
The water is then flows into a second chamber and is forced upwards through foam up and over into the final chamber.
Clean filtered water then returns to your pond.

Very good product. Pump is very powerful and seems to pump much more than my old 3500lph pump (don''t know how). Filter is working great and has cleared my water in just a few days despite it being very dirty. I had abit of a hiccup on the first day when my pond nearly drained due to the filter overflowing, after switching it off and back on it has worked fine for a week with no water loss (I have made no changes to the set up so really don''t know why this happened). In all a good product which is easy to set up and prompt delivery, thumbs up from me.
